Ukraine and “Gazprom” reach agreement gas debts
An agreement about paying out the gas debt was signed after the meeting of the head of the administration board pf “Gazprom” Aleksei Miller and the Minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine Yurii Boiko on October 8.
“Interfax” reports it referring to “Gazprom”. The agreement denoted the schedule of payment till November 1, 2007.
The first part of the money, 200 million dollars, will have to be paid by Ukraine till October 22. Boiko agreed with Miller about the fact that Ukraine will pay part of the 1.3 billion USD debt to “Gazprom” in money and the rest of it will be retuned in the form of gas stored in Ukrainian underground gas-holders.
