Ukraine awarded a group of Belarusian servicemen. These are fighters of the unit "TUR", which exists as part of the 225th separate assault battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ten people received the Order of Courage, the "Golden Cross" and the medals "For service and bravery".
"This is a proof of the effectiveness of the unit, as well as their [the fighters'] readiness to act in the most difficult conditions," writes "TUR" on its Telegram channel.
Last year, the "TUR" unit took part in an operation in the Kursk region. It was involved in the evacuation of equipment from the battlefield. Both Belarusians and Ukrainians serve in the unit.
