Ukraine to let oil to Belarus over "Odesa-Brady" pipe line

Ukraine will let 80 thousand tons of Venezuelan oil to Mazyr Oil Processing Plant over the pipe line "Odesa-Brady". According to the Minister of Fuel and Energetics of Ukraine Jury Boiko, it will be a try-out, states RIA "Novosti". Minsk plans to buy 4 million tons of oil from Caracas this year, and increase the purchases up to 8-9 million tons next year. The oil is transported by tankers to the sea-ports of Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The fuel is transported to Belarus from Odesa via railway.

Boiko stressed that they would not substitute the railway transit, but add to it. They also took into consideration the plans of Belarus to increase the scope of purchasing of Venezuelan oil.
