Victoria Azaranka made $1.75 in six months
A quarter-finalist of this year’s Wimbledon Victoria Azaranka has made more than $1.75 in six months. A 19-year-old Belarusian tennis player occupies the eighth position in the world rating. Single matches have brought her 1.486.699 dollars and matches of the doubles - $272.785. A website Mojazarplata.by has calculated that Victoria Azaranka took part in 11 tournaments in the first six months of 2009. Victoria won three of them. They are prime tournaments of the Women’s Tennis Association Sony Ericsson Open in Miami, Regions Morgan Keegan Championships in Memphis and Brisbane International in Brisbane.
Victoria made more than $3 million in her career from 2003 until 2009. The Belarusian tennis player is in the fifth position in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) income rating.
