An action of solidarity took place on a bridge in Vitsebsk on April 16. Portraits of Victar Hanchar, Zmitser Zavadski, Yury Zaharanka, Henadz Karpenka and Anatol Krasouski appeared on the hand-rails of Kirau Bridge at about 9 p.m. Young activists lit candles under the portraits.
At the same time, policemen kept watching the situation on the other side of the bridge – near Yakub Kolas Theatre. There were no incidents or detentions.
