Woman collects money for ‘child attacked by maniac’ (video)
The begging woman won’t tell you the victim’s name, cannot show any documents and explains that the operation was… on the lungs.
An elderly woman is holding a poster in the centre of Minsk: “My child has been attacked by a maniac and needs treatment after a complicated operation. Please, help.”
The woman is about 60 years old. One could hardly believe that she has a small son or daughter. She refuses to tell the child’s age. She explains it by her fear of the evil eye.
“The operation was on the lungs, treatment is needed now,” the woman describes the child’s diagnosis.
The unfortunate mother cannot explain how the maniac damaged the lungs: she says that she is illiterate.
By the way, passers-by have donated a whole bag of money to her.
Beggars using stories about diseased children are inventing more and more things. Kind Belarusians often donate 50-100 thousand roubles at a time.
