World Bank to give Belarus credit of 60-80 million dollars

The World Bank is going to give Belarus a credit of 60-80 million dollars for realization of two joint projects soon.
The head of the World Bank’s department of Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus Paul Birmingham has informed about it. The sum needed for financing the project will be announced within the next few weeks.

It is planned that the money will be allocated for financing energy saving and social sphere projects carried out by the World Bank in Belarus since 2001.

The money will also be used to finance a new project aiming at improving the quality of water people get in their houses.
