World to take actions of solidarity with Belarusian political prisoners
Two months has passed since brutal dispersal of the peaceful demonstration and mass beating of citizens at the Square.
Democratic activists are going to conduct solidarity actions in different cities of Belarus on February 19.
Similar actions will take place worldwide.
Belarusians of the Netherlands organize an action of solidarity with the Belarusian political prisoners, the number of whom is still growing. The action is to take place from 13.00 till 14.00, local time, near the building of the International Criminal Court in the Hague.
An action of solidarity with imprisoned Belarusians will also take place near the Belarusian Embassy in London from 14:00 till 15:00.
An action of support for the Belarusians who are imprisoned and persecuted by the regime will take place in the opposite of the main UNO office in New York. The action is organized by the Belarusian Youth Movement of America (Belmov.org) together with New York department of the Belarusian-American Association.
The association of Belarusians of Sweden and Swedish public associations will hand out letters containing an example of appeal to the Belarusian authorities with a demand to release all political prisoners and the address, to the Sweds, passers-by, participants of the solidarity action, and offer them to send these letters to Aliaksandr Lukashenka's administration, in the center of Stockholm.
