Writer Uladzimir Arlou meets fans in Hrodna (fhoto)
The Movement for Freedom on Tuesday organized a meeting with writer Uladzimir Arlou at the office of the Belarusian School Society in Hrodna.
Arlou visited Hrodna after a three-year break with his new book of poems The Ferry through La Manche which won the Europe's Freedom Poet Award in the Polish city of Gdansk.
The writer also recalled the recent tragedy near Smolensk, describing it as the second large-scale event after the World War II. The guests observed a moment of silence for the victims of the Polish president's plane crash in Russia.
