The CEC chairperson has given a big interview to the newspaper SB.Belarus Today.
CEC chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna gave a big interview to the newspaper SB.Belarus Today. She described her life, habits and dreams. People often recognize her in the streets, she said. That is why she feels ‘embarrassed’ and tries to go only ‘to the nearest shop’. She lives ‘at a state summer house in the forest’.
She does not know what she will do after retirement (she is 62 and has occupied the position of the CEC chairperson since 1996), Lidziya Yarmoshyna confessed. She does not want to be ‘helpless, lonely and neglected’.
Lidziya Yarmoshyna does not want to study English while she is blacklisted and cannot enter the European Union, the CEC chairperson confessed. “Why exhaust yourself and make life more complicated? I prefer playing it by ear,” Yarmoshyna said.
