"Yellow-Green Rally" takes place in Hrodna (photo)
Hrodna fans have conducted a loud rally in support of "Nioman" FC, starting from the Soviet Square ending at the stadium. Let us remind you, it was enough for "Nioman" to play in a draw with "Vitsebsk" in the last round of the Belarusian football championship on Saturday in order to secure themselves in the Premier League.
About 100 youngsters wearing yellow-green scarves chanted "Only Nioman! Only Hrodna!" and clapped their hands. The fans went along the central streets of the city in the organized column, accompanied by policemen.
The organizers of the rally refused to speak to the journalists. The day before, they advised at their web-site to "avoid giving comments to mass media" in order not to turn the action of fan support into a political action.
In the end, "Nioman" won 3:0.
