Youth activists do not recognize Congress of Democratic Forces
A number of youth organizations claimed they did not recognize the Congress of Democratic forces planned to take place in Minsk on May 26-27.
A corresponding appeal has been distributed on the Internet. The authors of the appeal are for “the real joining up of efforts of the opposition not for “consolidation in the name of the leaders’ interests” but to defeat the regime preventing Belarus from political and economic development”.
The appeal was signed by representatives of the Belarusian youth movement of America, internet-community “Third Way” and a number of unregistered youth organizations.
