Yulia Tymoshenko's appeal to be pronounced in Kyiv
Protests in the Ukrainian capital continue, but they don't involve as many people as before.
4-5 thousand people stay in the Maidan of Independence. They are waiting for the pronouncement of the Yulia Tymoshenko's official appeal as to the situation in Ukraine. The ex-PM's daughter Evgeniya will read out the appeal.
Euroradio correspondent Ales Piletski reports from the Maidan of Independence in Kyiv:
"It is presumed that Tymoshenko will raise an issue of negotiations with Yanukovych. The conditions are unknown. The only explanation was that negotiations with Yanukovych are possible only in his language, that is, the language of ultimatums. Tymoshenko refuses to negotiate with Azarov, she does not think he takes decisions in the current situation."
According to Ales Piletski, the people feel they have reached the dead end: both the authorities and the opposition stick to their positions. In order to change the situation someone needs to take a step, and this may be Yulia Tymoshenko, imprisoned since 2011. The protesters hope something will change today.
