Zhodzina activists to stand trial for solidarity action with entrepreneurs
Activists detained for the action of solidarity with entrepreneurs will stand trial in Zhodzina on May 23.
Ales Makayeu, Pavel Prakapovich, Ales Abramovich, Ivan Pomazau, Mihail Latyshau and Pavel Staravoitau were detained at a meeting in Zhodzina market on May 21. The action took 40 minutes. The activists addressed the sellers and customers and then walked across the market.
The activists demand to abolish Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s decree #222 forbidding the sale of light industry goods without certificates.
Co-head of the organizing committee of the BCD Pavel Sevyarynets has urged to express solidarity with the activists and come to Zhodzina.
