6018 polling stations open on parliamentary election day
6018 polling stations are functioning on the parliamentary election day this year. 21 of them are in military units, 259 - in sanatoriums, preventoriums, holiday centres, hospitals and other medical institutions. The voting may end earlier than at 8 p.m. there – as soon as everyone votes.
47 polling stations are open abroad. They can be visited in 36 states including Cuba and the United Arab Emirates. Belarusian citizens living, working or travelling in those states can vote there.
A passport of the Republic of Belarus is required to cast your vote in most cases. However, military men can bring their military service books, state officials can show their ID’s and students – their student cards, BELTA reports.
