790 settlements in Belarus remain without electricity after Cyclone Daniella
As of 1900 on January 12, power was down at 790 settlements in the Brest, Homel, Minsk and Mahlou regions of Belarus, reports press office of the Ministry for Emergencies.
Deputy Prime Minister Anatol Kalinin gathered an ad hoc meeting of the Commission on Emergencies at the Council of Ministers to address the situation.
He ordered to remove snow blocks on roads and restore normal operation of all social and economic objects in the country by the morning of January 13.
