Action of solidarity with political prisoners in Brest (pictures)
Local activists reminded about political prisoners in Belarus by disseminating leaflets in Brest's neighborhoods Vulka and South.
The action of solidarity with Belarusian political prisoners took place in the Vulka and South micro-districts of Brest. Activists said that in the morning of February 16 they managed to disseminate 1000 copies of leaflets with information about Mikalai Statkevich, Mikalai Dziadok, Ihar Alinevich and other political prisoners.
The activists reportedly managed not to be detained.
Actions of solidarity with political prisoners and the disappeared politicians beame a tradition in the regional center. Similar events were held by activists every 16th day of recent months.
