Belarus police developing internet slang dictionary for schools

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has hired experts to develop a dictionary of online youth slang to be used by teachers in Belarusian schools, Siarhey Yankouski, head of the police juvenile inspections department, said at the round table on "Drug abuse prevention among youngsters".

"We're currently working on a dictionary of slang terms used by minors on the Web," Yankouski was quoted by BELTA news agency as saying. The dictionary will be sent to schools so that teachers and students can better understand each other.
