Belarus to participate in tank biathlon competition near Moscow
Tankers from Belarus, Russia, Armenia and Kazakhstan will take part in the competition.
The final stage of the competition - the international one - will take place at the fire ground in Alabino on August 17, writes the newspaper Vedomosti. The best Russian crew will be selected for that. It is informed that the tank biathlon mania seized the Russian tank troops in June: three best tank brigades were selected in each military district for participation in the competition.
Belarusians will struggle in the T-72B tanks, the same as their rivals. An imitation of international competition has already taken place at the fire ground: the tanks have passed a small circle with an obstacle course and shot on targets.
