Belarus to play with Switzerland, Russia – with USA
It will be Belarusians’ third match at the world championship. It will start in Minsk Arena at 16.45 p.m.
Russians and Americans will also play in Minsk Arena at 8.45 p.m. The other today’s matches will be Slovakia – France (Chyzhouka Arena, 4.45 p.m.) and the Czech Republic – Canada (Chyzhouka Arena, 8.45 p.m.).
Belarus defeated Kazakhstan yesterday – 4:1. Andrei Ststyapanau, Mikalai Stasenka, Syarhei Kastsitsyn and Alyaksei Kalyuzhny scored the goals. The results of the other yesterday’s matches were: Finland – Russia (2:4), Switzerland – the Czech Republic (4:3 after penalty shots). Norway – Denmark (4:3), Germany – Latvia (3:2) and France – Italy (1:2).
Norway is the leader of group A with 6 points. Sweden has 5 points, Canada – 4, Czechs and Italians – 3, France – 2, Slovakia – 1 and Denmark – 0. Russia and the USA have 6 points in group B. Germany – 5, Belarus and Latvia – 3, Kazakhstan – 1, Finland and Switzerland – 0.
