Belarus to start disbursing Russian loan in 2017
Russia is going to allocate $450 million from the federal budget to Belarus this year.
The credit will be given for 10 years with the annual interest rate of 4%. Information about its reimbursement has appeared on the website of the Russian government – January 2017.
"Belarus will disburse the loan in U.S. dollars to Russia in 14 parts twice a year – on January and July 15. The first payment will be made on January 15, 2017,” the document says.
The interest rate will be calculated from the first day and the last interest will be paid together with the principal.
According to December agreements, Belarus will get $2 billion from Russia. However, it is not clear where the biggest part of this sum will be taken from.
