Belarusian musicians released about 100 albums in 2011
Most of them were pop, rock and folk.
Belarusian musicians were more fruitful in comparison with 2010. According to the portal experty.by, 63 discs of pop, rock and modern folk music were out last year. There were only 43 of them in 2010.
"The number increased in 2011 and 3 or 4 albums were out at the very end of the year, - says portal coordinator Zmitser Bezkaravainy. – You can also add that there were about 20 rap releases we do not take into account because this is a different niche. There were also about 10 metal albums. The number of all the albums may reach 100”.
By the way, experty.by is planning to sum up the results of the year and chose the best albums in February.
