Belavia in talks with lowcoster Flydubai
The Belavia Airline is in talks with the lowcoster from the United Arab Emirates, Flydubai, convincing it to start flying to Minsk. But so far no concrete decision was taken.
"Our ambassador in the Emirates is constantly meeting with representatives of airlines and holding negotiations," said at a press conference in Minsk deputy general director of Belavia Ihar Charhinets.
Earlier, in an interview to Euroradio, Charhinets said that they would benefit from a lowcoster coming to Minsk.
Charhinets: "We found a low-cost company, found a common business interest and are negotiating. What is our interest? We want them to start flying, and we will bring passengers from other places to their flights in Minsk."
But Flydubai is stil to accept it. Because now the traffic is in decline, and market conditions are not very good.
