Students 'voluntarily' help clean up wood-processing factory
The headmaster of construction vocational lyceum insists it was a voluntary action.
Director of the Barysau state construction professional lyceum Alena Zyablikava has said this to Euroradio.
Alena Zyablikava: "We don't work instead of studies. However, we have a very important and great construction and we do realize the importance of the object. The city has many objects that we help to construct as builders. Meanwhile, construction starts with cleaning out the garbage."
The lyceum students are involved in working at various objects. They also worked at BATE stadium. If the construction organization offer the work, the students get money for this. However, cleaning Borisovdrev was a voluntary action, the headmaster says.
The website barysau.by also informed that pupils of the 6th school also worked at the construction site. The school administration gives no comment until the headmaster arrives.
