Drones banned to fly over Kolya Lukashenka's school
Belarus' Defense Ministry has designated the no-fly zones for model aeroplanes and drones, according to the resolution published at the National Legal Documents Portal. The document was signed by Defense Minster Andrei Raukou after coordinated approval by the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure.
The list contains 21 objects with no-fly area designated by geographical coordinates and borders, including 8 military units: near the village of Bronnaja Hara (Brest region), near the village of Prudok (Viciebsk region), near the village of Pianer, near the towns of Dobrus, Recyca (Homiel region), near the village of Bobr and Ausejeuka (Minsk region) and near the village of Vialikaja Haroza in the Mahilou region.
Flights are also forbidden over several government objects: near the village of Perarova (Bielaviezskaja Pusca), an object in Biarezinski National Reserve, at Minsk Sea and near the village of Zacan not far from Minsk.
10 km around the Ignalina nuclear power plant in Lithuanis is also a no-fly zone because it includes the village of Drysviaty and the same-name lake on the territory of Belarus.
The no-fly zones for model aeroplanes and drones in Minsk include the areas over the president's residence, the Palace of Independence, the church in Dauhinauski Trakt in Navinki neighborhood and the beltway junctions with Cimirazjeva street. The sports base Olympian at Minsk Sea is mentioned twice in the resolution.
Flights are also banned over the chemical production giant Hrodna-Azot and an unknown object near Lake Rusdnia in Sluck district.
The list of no-fly zones also include the area near Astrasycki Haradok where the school of Lukashenka's son Kolya is located.
Discrepancies are possible in the objects' coordinates on Google Maps.
