EU to allocate €3.3 million for Belarus-Ukraine cooperation
The European Union will allocate 3.3 million euro for the cooperation programme Belarus-Ukraine. The authorities, self-administration bodies and civil organizations will be able to take part in it.
A press conference dedicated to this issue was held in Zhytomir Oblast of Ukraine yesterday. Regional administration, experts and an EU representative took part in it. Brest and Homel Provinces of Belarus will also be able to participate in the programme. Trans-border Belarus-Ukraine projects are aimed at the support of small-scale and medium-sized business, the increase of tourist and investment attractiveness of the region and environmental protection. The budget of the project will range from 60 to 250 thousand euro.
