Travel ban for ex-political prisoner Andrei Haidukou
The state security agency KGB bans activist and former political prisoner Andrei Haidukou from leaving the country.
Andrei Haidukou was not explained the reason for the travel ban, human rights website Viasna reports. He was only told that the ban had been imposed by KGB.
Haidukou has been under KGB prophylactic supervision since his release on May 8. He is also under prophylactic supervision s a former convict in the police, no preventive supervision is being conducted.
Haidukou was imprisoned for 18 months on charges of trying to contact foreign intelligence. Human rights activists announced him a political prisoner.
