First case against "pedophile hunters" in Minsk court
Minsk City Police Department spokesman Aliaksandr Lastouski says the first case against "pedophile hunters" is due in court.
According to Mr Lastouski, the people who suffered from the actions of the "pedophile hunters" in Minsk started appealing to the police. The criminal case is at a Minsk courts, interfax.by reports.
According to the "pedophile hunters victim", the case has been under consideration for a year. The hearings were often postponed as the defendants just failed to appear in court. Two of them are lying low wanted by the police. The third one is under investigation in the other case.
Last week a video appeared on the Internet, showing some representatives of the structure that announced its aim as the fight against pedophiles committing an act of vigilante justice over a young resident of Minsk.
According to Mr Lastouski, the Minsker has already approached a lawyer for legal assistance. They are drafting an appeal to the law-enforcement authorities.
