Foreign Minister’s wife gets Francysk Skaryna medal

Actor Vera Palyakova-Makei has received a Francysk Skaryna medal. She is one of the six people who got the award on March 28. The President awarded a few dozen people with it, Euroradio reported.

Directors of the History Institute and Philosophy Institute of the Academy of Sciences Vyachaslau  Danilovich and Anatol Lazarevich, TV presenter Svyatlana Barouskaya, Geoinformaion Systems director Syarhei Zalaty, chair head of the Belarusian Agricultural Academy Uladzimir Petravets and leading stage master of Belarusfilm Vera Palyakova-Makei , Uladzimir Makei’s wife, got the medals.  

Vera Palyakova-Makei is 37 years old, nn.by reports. She graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, played parts in films and at the theatre. She was a grant holder of the Belarus President's fund for support of talented youth.
