Minsk officials visit metro (photo)

The most impatient Minskers started gathering near the new station an hour before the opening ceremony, onliner.by reports. It was held in the western hall. PM Mihail Myasnikovich, head of Minsk City Executive Committee Mikalai Ladutska and other officials attended it.

Malinauka was supposed to be ready before the hockey championship, Myasnikovich said. “However, I personally think that quality is preferable to speed in this case,” he added.

The officials got on a metro train after the opening ceremony.
