Putin to arrive in Minsk tomorrow
Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to visit Minsk at the invitation of Aliaksandr Lukashenka.
Vladimir Putin's press office reports the Russian president will arrive in Minsk on July 2 "to take part in the solemn festivities to mark 70 years since Belarus' liberation from German Nazi invadors".
During the visit, Lukashenka and Putin are expected to discuss "multiple issues of Russian-Belarusian cooperation and intergrational interaction."
Reports suggested earlier that Vladmir Putin would join Aliaksandr Lukashenka in the ceremony to unveil the new building of Belarusian Great Patriotic War Museum in Minsk. The museum will be launched on July 2 ahead of Independence Day n Belarus on July 3.
