Mother of murdered sportswoman asks for capital punishment for Vishtalyuk
The mother of murdered Belarusian athlete Yuliya Balykina has asked to execute Dzmitry Vishtalyuk, 29, sputnik.by reports. Her life is senseless without her daughter, she said. “He did not only kill her, he has killed us all,” the woman said. The murderer is standing trial in Minsk City Court. Vishtalyuk is a Russian citizen and he had never violated laws before. The man pled guilty yesterday.
Balykina’s boyfriend is accused of killing her in November 2015. He probably was intoxicated. The woman was hit with a hammer 12 times. She received 11 hits in the head. The man hid her body in a Smalyavichy District forest. The quarrel started during the redecoration of the flat, Dzmitry Vishtaltyuk explained. He is accused of a first-degree murder and of stealing a vehicle.
