Parting with sportswoman Yuliya Balykina to be organized on November 21
The parting with murdered runner Yuliya Balykina will be organized in Dalhinauski Tract, Minsk from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. on November 21. She will be buried in Ukraine, her birthplace. Relatives are asking not to bring wreaths to the ceremony to avoid delays when crossing the border later, BelaPAN reports.
The famous sportswoman went missing on October 28. Her car and flat were searched and investigators concluded that the disappearance was of criminal nature. The woman’s acquaintance was suspected of killing her and got detained a few days later. Balykina’s body was found in a forest near the village of Staryna, Smalyavichy District more than two weeks later.
Yuliya Balykina was 31 years old.
