Plane crash in Algeria, over 100 dead
Bad weather seems to be to blame for the crash.
A military transport airplane that belonged to the country’s Ministry of Defense crashed in the mountains in the east of Algeria. All the 103 passengers and crew members died, local TV channel Al-Ahbar reports.
Military men and their families were on board the airliner C-130 Hercules produced in America.
According to the preliminary information, bad weather is to blame for the plane crash. Ambulances, policemen and firemen are heading for the crash spot. No other details have been reported yet.
