Building in Plyakhanau Street being restored under police's supervision
Meanwhile, Minsk city executive committee is looking for the relatives of those who died in the blast.
A week after the accident, they sealed the site around the entrance No. 10 and installed a workmen's shelter there. Policemen are guarding the approaches to the improvised construction site. If on Wednesday it was possible to come close to the doors, now only the builders are allowed. They explain this by the danger of being near the emergency entrance. The builders placed the crane near it and carry the necessary equipment to the roof. They also dismantle the rubbles in the apartment where the explosion took place on February 23.
The residents of the emergency entrance have informed Euroradio that there has been no news yet. The city authorities have not contacted anyone for several days. It is expected that the residents will inspect their apartments together with the experts who will evaluate the damage next week.
Meanwhile, the city authorities have come across a problem - no relatives of the deceased family contacted them. They consider that the remains of Ihar and Zoya Trushkevich (born in 1966 and 1941 correspondingly) were found at the blast site. Minsk city executive committee is asking these people's relatives to call 285-13-89, 223-27-28, 223-58-04, 223-93-28.
