Cannes Festival participants to greet audience to Kasya Kamockaya’s song
The creators of the film “In The Fog” would like to walk along the red carpet to the song “My Hunter” from “People’s Album”.
They have asked the singer, Kasya Kamockaya, for permission to do it.
“The thing is there is no music at all in their film, - said Kasya Kamockaya to Euroradio. – I talked to them yesterday… I was also interested why they had chosen me. But they have a cool sound producer from Belarus. And I asked: “Don’t you have any music?” – “We don’t, there are only birds singing”.
The film “In The Fog” is a joint project of Belarus, Russia, Latvia, Germany and the Netherlands. The producer, Sergei Loznitsa, was born in Baranavichy and the actor who played the main part, Uladzimir Svirski, was born in Barysau.
“In The Fog” is on the list of the 65th Cannes Film Festival this year. Sergei Loznitsa will compete with David Cronenberg, Alaine René and other famous filmmakers for the Palme d'Or. The film will be presented at the Cannes Festival on May 24.
