Construction of residential area according to Chinese standards has started

Chinese specialists have already settled in the building yard. The office is in this building.

50 Chinese specialists have already arrived in Minsk.

33 blocks of flats for 20 thousand inhabitants will be built in Lyabyazhy. Half of them will be built by the Chinese company.

A complex including the office of the company and a hotel for Chinese specialists and workers will appear here first. Then the flats will be offered to Belarusians.

There are not many machines at the building site at the moment. There were almost no machines on Monday.

All the inscriptions are in Chinese.

The office of the company will be built in 2012. And the whole residential area will be ready in 2016.

The general cost of the investment project totals about 200 million dollars.

This is the Belarusian part of the construction. The work is also slow here. There are not many workers. However, the Chinese part looks neater – even the road to the office is red bricked.

A road leading to the residential area is being built. The Belarusian part is closer to “Minsk-Arena” and the Chinese one is a bit farther – not far from the centre “Hyundai” that can be seen on the horizon.
