Football federation delays investigation of referee insult
Fans badly insulted the referee during Belarus Cup semi-final game between FC Minsk and Tarpeda BelAZ Zhodzina
However,
there will be no investigation in this regard, Euroradio has learned from the
press center of the Belarusian Football Federation. It turns out that the
inspector of the game did not reflect the mentioned incident in his report.
Therefore, the Federation will investigate the incident only if one of the
clubs demands it.
On April 3, during the Cup of Belarus semi-final game between Minsk FC and
Tarpeda BelAZ Zhodzina, the fans badly insulted the referee. The game ended in
the 1:0 victory of Minsk FC, and the team proceeded to the Cup of Belarus
final. After the game, the fans chanted insults to chief referee of the match Syarhei Tsynkevich as he had
cancelled Artsyom Chalyadzinski's goal in the first half. Tarpeda BelAZ
Zhodzina head coach Ihar Kryvushenka
says that the referee made a mistake.
