How I cooked Lidziya Yarmoshyna’s borsch (photo, video)
CEC chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna has shared the secrets of her own borsch recipe with “Kamsamolka”.
Euroradio has cooked it and bought an instant borsch sachet to compare both.
Furthermore, we ordered a plate of classic Belarusian borsch in the restaurant “Kamyanitsa”. Then we tasted all of them.
Our colleagues mistakenly thought that the instant borsch was “the famous Lidziya Mihailauna’s borsch”.
The instant borsch smelled of “chemical soups” and baked tomatoes.
Our colleagues said that the borsch “a la Lidziya Yarmoshyna” smelled of vinegar although there was no vinegar in it!
They liked the borsch from the restaurant best… Lidziya Yarmoshyna’s borsch cooked by a Euroradio reporter and the instant borsch were not appreciated much. Maybe we should have bought sour cream!?
