Investigator who summoned Mihalok says he likes “Lyapises”
Euroradio has phoned Alyaksandr Bachyla, the investigator of Minsk Central District Office of the Public Prosecutor who summoned Mihalok (+ photo of subpoena).
The investigator did not want the conversation to be recorded and said that he did not have the right to distribute information.
However, he repeated several times that it was not a criminal case but “an ordinary hearing according to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus”. The investigator did not explain what Mihalok has done to be summoned to court. He only said: “you probably know the reason yourself”. At the end of the conversation Bachyla added that he liked the song of “Lyapis Trubetskoy” but he had to talk to Mihalok because he was duty-bound.
Let us remind you that a subpoena saying that Syarhei Mihalok must appear in Central District Office of the Public Prosecutor was sent to his home address in Minsk. The reason for it was not mentioned. His mother was at home and received the subpoena. Syarhei had to visit the investigator on October 13 at 10 a.m. but the leader of “The Lyapises” is performing on tour in Russia now.
Mihalok has given a number of interviews and criticized the authorities lately. According to “Belarusian Partisan”, it is the reason for the subpoena.
