Portuguese to referee Euro-2012 final
The Union of the European Football Associations appointed the referees for the final game today.
Spain and Italy will meet at the Olympic Stadium in Kyiv on July 1 to play the Euro-2012 final. The game will be refereed by Portugal’s Pedro Proença, according to the information provided by the UEFA web-site. He will be assisted by Bertino Miranda and Ricardo Santos, with Manuel De Sousa and Duarte Gomes acting as additional assistant referees.
It is interesting that Pedro Proença already worked at a big European tournament' final this year. It was the Champions' League final, when "Chelsea" defeated "Bayern" by penalty kicks in Munich.
