Fashion designer Sasha Varlamau under interrogation

10.50. The prosecutor is reading out Varlamau's evidence, taken during the investigation. There are many discrepancies with what he says now. Varlamau says that he was in shock then and could not remember everything, like, that he paid for the visas of the participants. When he saw the documents he recalled that.
Varlamau: "I was shocked when they detained me and often replied that I didn't remember something. I told I did not pay for visas but then I remembered that I did".
10.15. Varlamau is under interrogation. He is telling about insurances, that he paid for them with his own money. The prosecutor says there are BSU documents in the case, which confirm that the insurances were paid by a non-cash transaction, and adds that the BSU paid twice.

The famous fashion designer is accused of large scale fraud, appropriation, tax evasion, abuse of official authorizations, stealing in an especially large amount.
Sasha Varlamau has been in custody since May 20, 2011. He used
to be a Director of the "Sasha Varlamau's Modeling School", head of
the BSU Youth Fashion Center and others.
