Right Sector demands Arsen Avakov’s resignation
They picketed the Verkhovna Rada on March 27 but left before Friday morning, BBC reports. A special commission will be created in Parliament to investigate the death of coordinator of the Right Sector Alexander Muzychko (Sashko Bily), nonfaction people’s deputy Yuri Dzerevyanko told protesters on Thursday.
From 1.5 to 2 thousand people gathered near the Vekhovna Rada on Thursday evening. The activists broke a few windows and tried to break the door threatening to assault the Parliament. MPs and the Verkhova Rada left the building from the back door. The action participants demanded to put Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov to trial. He is suspected of having ordered to murder Sashko Bily.
