"The Sopranos" star James Gandolfini dies at 51
The actor died of heart attack in Rome.
He was going to attend a festival in Sicily, RIA Novosti informs.
James Gandolfini got famous for portrayal of the "Godfather" Tony Soprano in a cult TV-series "The Sopranos". The actor got three Emmy awards and one Golden Globe then.
"One night, really late, when "The Sopranos" was fresh on screen, someone knocked on the doors of my Manhattan apartment, - James Gandolfini said. — I opened the doors and the guy who was standing there turned pale as a sheet at one moment. I didn't catch it why he got so frightened. And he just thought I was Tony Soprano..."
