19 Belarusian companies found in British offshore
Some Alyaksandr Lukashenka is indicated there as a director of the Avonlea Industry Corp.
The company was founded in Alyaksandr Lukashenka's name in 2002. Moscow resident Irina Arkhipova headed the company in 2009. Blogger Yuras Zyankovich, who first discovered Lukashenka's name on the list, thinks that such re-registration is connected with the sanctions imposed on the Belarusian President by the West. However, it is not excluded that it's the President's namesake on the list.
