Belarusian and Ukrainian political prisoners remembered in Kiev (video)
A picket in support of 22 Ukrainian and 11 Belarusian political prisoners was held in Kiev's central square Maidan Nezalezhnosti on October 30.
The picket participants demanded to release political prisoners. They also suggested collecting signatures in support of a European integration referendum in Ukraine.
They sent postcards to political prisoners and lodged an appeal to the EU representative office in Ukraine asking to help release all political prisoners in Ukraine and Belarus.
The action was dated for the Day of Political Prisoners. It was organized by the Ukrainian Committee on Release of Political Prisoners and the Belarusian movement Razam.
