'Euromaidan' took place near the Ukrainian Embassy in Warsaw on November 24.
This is how the Ukrainians call actions in support of signing the Association Agreement between their country and the EU. Several hundred people came to the action in the center of Warsaw, including Belarusians who raised two white-red-white flags.
The protest actions started in Ukraine when the government decided to postpone signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union on November 21. The demonstrations are held not only in Kyiv but in many other Ukrainian cities. Sometimes they are accompanied with clashes with the police.
The biggest action took place in Kyiv on November 24. 100-150 thousand people came out to the streets of the Ukrainian capital. During the rally there were clashes with the police. The people set a tent camp after the demonstration in the European Square in Kyiv. The protesters say they will stay there till the victory.
