Boeing gets in emergency situation over Minsk
The jet conducted an emergency landing, the road to the airport was blocked for a certain time.
The rescuers got the message about the incident at 7.30 a.m. on September 24. According to the Ministry for emergency Situations, the plane worked out the fuel and landed again in the airport an hour and a half later.
"Today, at 7.30 a.m., the passenger Boeing departed from the airport for the Minsk-Antalia flight. However, the pilots informed about the problems with chassies soon, the plane worked out the fuel and landed in an hour and a half. The landing was conducted in an ordinary regime. Rescuers arrived at the spot, but the passengers didn't need any assistance," spokesman for the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Belarus Vital Navitski has commented to Euroradio.
Now, all the passengers of the emergency Boeing stay in Minsk National Airport. The issue of their transportation to Turkey is being solved.
