“Comet of the century” photographed (photo)
Hubble has sent the first pictures of the comet ISON to Earth. It will bypass our planet on December 26.
The comet was noticed last September. Belarusian amateur Vital Neuski was among those who discovered it, BELTA reports.
The comet nucleus is about 5 or 6 km, and its tail is over 92 thousand km long, NASA reports.
The space traveller is expected to orbit the Sun and return to Oort cloud.
