Giant graffiti girl in Belarus' national colours in Minsk
In Minsk, a 9-storey dormitory building in 15 Rabkorauskaya Street now features a giant graffiti of a girl dressed in an embroidered shirt. It was created by the British-Australian street artist Guido van Helten. He came to the Belarusian capital during the festival of monumental painting art called Urban Myths, Nasha Niva reports.
The artist worked on the graffiti for 10 days. The girl wearing an embroidered shirt was photographed by the artist somewhere in Belarus. Under modern clothes she can be seen wearing authentic Belarusian embroidery, which is over a hundred years old.
